Enhance Job Search SkillsWorkshop participants will learn about tools and techniques used by successful job searchers. They will discover how to find jobs not advertised and look at ideas on how to create a career or job opportunity. Participants will practice informational interviews, develop network prospects, prepare to ace job interviews, and learn interview follow-up techniques.

Create a Targeted Resume or CVWorkshop participants will learn how to develop a resume that serves as an effective marketing tool and projects a professional image. They will create a listing of expertise areas and accomplishments, and outline a resume format.

Prepare to Move Toward Life GoalsWorkshop participants will identify gaps in their background that impact their ability to progress toward desired life goals. They will discover alternative ways to gain new or updated skills and knowledge. Barriers preventing them from taking action will be identified along with techniques to overcome these barriers.

Strategize for SuccessWorkshop participants will work on rebranding or personal branding. They will begin to develop their stories and examine options to market themselves and promote their value to potential employers or clients/customers. Assessing and researching potential marketing arenas will be brainstormed.

Make Dreams Come TrueWorkshop participants will develop a personal life “bucket list,” engage in a guided imagery exercise, and develop a 10-15 year plan to live the imagined enriched life. They will leave with a drafted life blueprint.

Refund Policy: A full or partial refund of your workshop registration fee is available provided that you provide advance notice of cancellation. If you cancel at least 10 days before the workshop date, you will receive a full refund. If cancellation notice is received 9 to 5 days prior to the workshop date, then 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. If notice of cancellation is received less than 5 days from the workshop date, the full fee is nonrefundable. In the event that the workshop is cancelled, we will refund the full fee.
